Brooke has been a dedicated member of the dental field for over eight years. She began her career as a dental assistant and quickly discovered a passion for dentistry and helping patients feel confident in their smiles.
Over the years, Brooke has expanded her knowledge and expertise, becoming a Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions in both removable and fixed prosthetics. She is also certified in Dental Insurance Coordination and has successfully transitioned into the administrative side of dentistry. In her role, she enjoys helping patients understand their treatment options, maximize their insurance benefits, and achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
Outside of the office, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals, and spending weekends and evenings at the baseball field supporting her boys. She also loves making memories with family and friends.
Brooke’s favorite part of dentistry is building lasting relationships with patients and helping them gain confidence in their smiles. She loves working alongside Dr. Clark because of her attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and the positive, team-oriented atmosphere she creates for both patients and staff.
Tiffany White – Registered Dental Hygienist
Tiffany has two sons and one daughter that she enjoys spending time with. She also loves boating at Table Rock Lake. She is most excited to expand her family with four new grand babies. Tiffany graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from North Central Community College. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. She loves working in the dental field because it gives her the opportunity to provide a valuable health care service while establishing trusting relationships with patients. Tiffany enjoys working with Dr. Clark because of her meticulous attention to detail and her creative approach to providing outstanding patient care.
Keri Haenni, EFDA – Registered Dental Hygienist
Keri graduated from North Central Missouri College with an associate degree in Applied Science Dental Hygiene and is also an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in dental hygiene online with the University of Minnesota Mankato. Keri is a founding member of AAOSH and active with MDHA/ADHA working to mentor others and improve working conditions for all hygienists. Keri lives in St. Joseph with her husband, Mark. Their children are all grown, but now they have two beautiful granddaughters to love and spoil. Keri volunteers time doing dental screenings and fluoride varnish treatments to elementary age children all around northwest Missouri as well as supporting Paint the Parkway Pink breast cancer fundraiser yearly. She enjoys reading and making people smile. Keri’s favorite part of dentistry is the fact that with every patient she treats, she has aided in improving their health and quality of life. What she loves most about Dr. Heather Clark is that she is up to date with knowledge and technology, and that Dr. Clark genuinely cares for everyone’s whole health and well-being while promoting healthy smiles.
Nancy Jennings – Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Nancy is a graduate of Central High School and has over 20 years of dental experience including Expanded Functions Training in Restorative and Prosthetics. Nancy is married, has two daughters and lives in St. Joseph. Nancy enjoys making crafts and quilting. Nancy loves working with the team at Illuminate Dentistry & Aesthetics because of the Complete Health Dentistry model, the attention to detail as well as the fun and positive atmosphere.
Lori – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Lori has been a dental assistant for over 20 years with experience in not only general dentistry but oral surgery also. In her free time she enjoys new adventures with her dogs or spending quality time with her grandchildren. Lori loves being a dental assistant and treating patients with the utmost respect and compassion. Whether the patient needs good conversation or someone to hold their hand through the anxieties, she is by their side. Lori enjoys working with Dr. Clark because of her fresh. innovative ideas to think outside the Box and personalize with each patient for their needs. She loves working at Illuminate Dentistry & Aesthetics because it is a positive, fun atmosphere where the team is as close as family.
Grace Simerly – Esthetician
Grace is a Missouri-licensed esthetician and internationally certified through CIDESCO. Originally from Savannah, Missouri, she began her career caring for individuals with disabilities, a role that shaped her patience and compassion. Today, Grace brings that same care to her esthetics practice, creating personalized, results driven treatments in a welcoming and relaxing environment. Dedicated to continued education and advanced techniques, she strives to help every client leave feeling confident, refreshed, and glowing inside and out.
Makenzie Peterson – Administrative Team
Makenzie is a graduate of Savannah High School. She has 10 years experience in customer service and has been in dentistry for 8 years. Her main goal is to make the patient feel welcomed and valued while achieving their dental wants and needs. Outside of work she loves spending time with her husband and two children. She loves playing volleyball and enjoys outdoor events with friends and family. What she loves most about Dr. Clark is the way she connects with her patients, not just as a Dentist, but also on a personal level.
Wendy – Insurance Coordinator
Wendy has a passion for insurance. She began her career working with medical insurance in 1988. Her passion for being an advocate for the patient and getting unpaid claims processed has been her drive. She went on to earn her CPC (certified professional coder) where she was a member of the AAPC in 2007. In 2021, she decided she wanted to learn more and moved to the dental insurance world. Since 2021 she has been working with dental insurance and plans to earn her credentials with the ADCA. She currently lives in Weatherby, Missouri with her husband.
Leah Frazee – Dental Assistant
Leah began her journey in dentistry as a Sterilization Technician and quickly demonstrated a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for patient care. She has since transitioned into the role of Dental Assistant, where she continues to be a valued member of our team.
Leah completed her prerequisite studies at Missouri Western State University and will be attending Concorde Career College to pursue her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Her dedication to continuing education and professional growth reflects her commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients.
One of Leah’s favorite aspects of working alongside Dr. Clark is Dr. Clark’s attention to detail and precision, which inspire her daily and contribute to the high standard of care our practice provides. Leah enjoys building relationships with patients and helping create a positive, comfortable dental experience for everyone who visits our office.
When she is not at the office or at school, Leah loves running with The Measly Mile Mafia, reading and baking. She loves spending quality time with her family and friends, playing or watching sports and playing card games.
